Another week of excellent netball in the North West Leicestershire League
Whitwick Ignite had a tough game. It had good focused bits of play and we continued to push through and develop different options. It was a good game and we have reflections to take back to training!
Melbourne vs Donnington Diamonds
A tough plate match 2day for Melbourne. Melbourne fought hard and went out fast with some sharp shooting and great team work from all. Unfortunately Donnington showed there continuing form and took a slim lead in the first quarter but then continued to forge ahead. Melbourne fought hard and pulled 2gether well with some amazing quick far out shots from MVP Doreen Heath. Absolutely lovely game to play and watch and well done to all.

Ashby 3 vs Bosworth Roses
A very close fast paced match today, with some lovely play down court from both teams. Both teams defending very well as the umpire had called 3 seconds on numerous occasions. In the end Ashby being particularly tight in defence and some amazing shots in the circle gave them a well deserved victory.
