Back to League matches this week. Everyone is settling into the season brilliantly.
Not feeling 100% so I’ll keep it brief:
Division 1 were at Ashby; an intense match between Blaby and Ashby Fire started the day with only 1 goal difference in 3 quarters. Roses and Swifts took to the court next and Swifts showed why they are the team to beat this season.
Division 2 were at Newbridge: Whitwick Ignite and Donington Diamonds put on a feisty performance; Gracedieu Gems then dominated Bosworth Thorns; Starlings stopped Hornettes’ 8 point streak with a draw in the first quarter; and the last match of the day between Whitwick Flames and Measham Mermaids saw both teams scoring valuable quarter bonus points.
Well done everyone
